Student of the Week

I picked Chi for Student of the Week. Chi just started piano this fall, but has taken off in her book and is practicing up a storm. I have also been impressed by how well Chi listens and follows instructions. Keep up the great playing, Chi :)

Student of the Week

This week I picked Samantha for Student of the Week. Samantha just started piano this Fall, and already she is practicing up a storm. Even when she did not have a piano at her house, she made sure to get in her practice at her cousin's house! And her practice is paying off. She has been passing five songs every week!! Keep up the great work, Samantha :)

October Challenge

This October we are going to have another Practice Minutes Challenge! Starting the first week of October, all practice minutes will be added toward a month total. Every student who practices over their required minutes for the month will win a prize. And the student for each level who practices the most minutes will win a second prize! Good luck and happy practicing :)

Student of the Week

Carli made Student of the Week because she practiced faithfully this summer and often even more than her mininum number of minutes, in spite of only having a few scattered lessons. Great job, Carli, and keep up the great discipline and fantastic playing :)

Student of the Week

I picked Brianna Mullin for Student of the Week because though she just started lessons, she was brave enough to get up and play at the Sports Recital. Not only did she get up there, she also played her song perfectly with no mistakes! Great job, Brianna.

Student of the Week

Jillian Topolski qualified for Student of the Week yet again this past week by managing to impress me one more time. I asked her how her week had gone, she said so-so, then I understood why when I saw her pinky in a splint. But, to my shock, I checked her practice book and saw she still managed to get her practice minutes in! I asked her how she practiced, she said she worked on left hand and what she could do with four fingers on the right! Now that's what I call dedication!
